A New Ranking Approach for Solving Fuzzy Transportation Problem with Pentagonal Fuzzy Number

In any decision-making process, imprecision is a significant issue. To deal with the ambiguous environment of collective decision-making, various tools and approaches have been created. Fuzzy set theory one most recent for coping imprecision. The Transportation Problem (FTP) well-known network planned linear programming problem which exists in variety situations has received lot attention recently. Many authors defined solved fuzzy transportation frequently utilized numbers such as triangular or trapezoidal numbers. On other hand, real-world problems usually involve more than four variables. tackle these concerns, pentagonal number applied to problems. This article proposes an approach solving whose parameters are without requiring initial feasible solution. An algorithm based on core spread method extended MODI developed determine optimal solution problem. proposed process approximation gives efficient result. illustrated example used validate model. As result, methodology both simpler computationally existing approaches.
